Action Needed: Shut Down Your Computer for Shared Drive Maintenance

Information Technology (IT) will perform maintenance on file servers commonly referred to as a shared drive, a mapped drive, or “Z Drive” beginning Friday, September 4, at 6:00 p.m. through Monday, September 7, at 5:00 p.m. During this maintenance window, access to folders and files on the shared drive will be unavailable. Below is a list of departmental shares that will be affected with this maintenance. IT will provide updates via status.ggc.edu.

Please note: Files on OneDrive, SharePoint, or MS Teams will not be affected by this maintenance.
Action Needed

All faculty and staff that use the shared drives listed below should shut down their computers before 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This applies to computers that are on and off campus.
Shutting down computers will help ensure that your access to the shared drive is not interrupted on Tuesday, September 8.
